Mission Statement
The ER Sporthorse Registry, or ERSR, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of eventers, jumpers, hunters, Dressage competitors, and combined driving horses.
What is a Sporthorse?
A Sporthorse is any horse that can compete in, is trained in, or has competed in Eventing [Two and Three Day Trials], single Jumping classes, Hunter classes, single Dressage classes, and Combined Driving classes.
There is no "proper" Sporthorse; just because your horse is purebred does not automatically make them better than a well thought out crossbred; just because your horse is Irish doesn't make them better than an American horse, ect. The unique thing about the Sporthorse is it comes down to personal preference; you can essentially create your own horse through breeding.
Registration with the ERSR
As long as you are a member of the Equine Revolution forum, you can potentially become a member of the ERSR. In order to become an "official" member, you need to own at least one Sporthorse or Pony. This automatically qualifies you for the ERSR shows and events! There is no registration besides promotion of stallions and mares.
Show Points
Horses whom place 1st to 10th will receive points, based upon these placings.
Division Champion (or Eventing overall champions): 20 Points
Division Reserve Champion (or Eventing overall reserve champions): 15 points
1st: 10 points
2nd: 9 points
3rd: 8 points
4th: 7 points
5th: 6 points
6th: 5 points
7th: 4 points
8th: 3 points
9th: 2 points
10th: 1 point
Other Placings/DNP/DQ: 0 points
ERSR Ranking System
Instead of "titles", horses receive rankings based upon the total number of points. After the ranking the proper gender is put in place. For example, if my mare has 500 points, she would be an ERSR Beginner Mare.
ERSR Amateur (Stallion/Mare/Gelding): 0 to 499 Points
ERSR Beginner (Stallion/Mare/Gelding): 500 to 749 Points
ERSR Intermediate (Stallion/Mare/Gelding): 750 to 999 Points
ERSR Advance (Stallion/Mare/Gelding): 1000 to 1749 Points
ERSR Bronze (Stallion/Mare/Gelding): 1750 to 2499 Points
ERSR Silver (Stallion/Mare/Gelding): 2500 to 3999 Points
ERSR Gold (Stallion/Mare/Geldings): 4000 to 5499 Points
ERSR Platinum (Stallion/Mare/Gelding): 5500 Points or Greater
ERSR Hall of Fame (Stallion/Mare/Gelding): Nominated & Approved
