About The Horse
Kitty is a beautiful, nearly solid black Quarter Horse mare that we found for sale at a local auction. The mare was in bad shape and had an adopted foal at her hip, but nonetheless she caught our eye. When she went into the ring, her price jumped to $500, and then up to $650 before we won at $685. Kitty was well worth it, as she turned out to be trained in cutting and registered with the AQHA, as well as she had around $25,000 in NCHA earnings. Kitty is the boss mare and can be tempermental. She is an easy rider for young children and a stubborn old brute for older riders, but nevertheless, we still are very proud of our 'Diamond in the Rough'.
