About The Horse
Unexpectedly Sinny came to us on a sunny, warm August day with a cut on her hind end and poorly kept feet. The owner was desperate to get rid of her, as the owner-trainer combination of father and son wasn't working for him. He claimed Sinny was one of his best horses, but she hadn't been worked in a few weeks due to the cut on her haunches. Despite the cut and poorly kept feet, Sinny looked to be in good health. We healed up the cut with minimum problems, trimmed her feet up, and let her run around barefoot for a while. Once she looked ready, we started training her in steeplechase; and man, that guy was right! Sinny so far hasn't proved herself in a race, but she is one hellofa horse for us to add to our steeplechase string.
