About The Horse
A daring, bold, daunting filly, "Millie" combines two classic horses into one great package. Millie's sire, Dunkirk, started in the 2009 GI Florida Derby and the 2009 GI Belmont Stakes, finishing second in both, before retiring to stud in 2010. Unbridled's Song, the fabled sun of Unbridled, sired such legends as Eight Belles, Midshipman, and Songandprayer. Unbridled's Song won five of his twelve starts, placing in four. He won the 1996 Wood Memorial and Florida Derby.
Better Than Honour was just stepping into the world while Unbridled's Song showed his talents on the track. She won the GII Demoiselle Stakes at two, placing in the Acorn Stakes and Comely Stakes, showing in the Mother Goose Stakes. Better Than Honour is a more remarkable broodmare, foaling Jazil, Rags to Riches, and Casino Drive.
Millie has the best from both her parents, and as a new addition to the Windsor Dirt Team, we are excited and hopeful about Millie's career here.
