Every once in a while, I wonder if it's possible to ever have a too well bred horse. I ponder this question and then look at Tale Of Rivals, deciding then that the answer to my question would be no. This amazing colt has both Alydar and Affirmed lines in his immediate pedigree, and has excellent lines on the dam sides of the pedigrees. Alydar and Affirmed are both is great grandsires, along with having names like Raise A Native, Danzig, and Spectacular Bid in his immediate pedigree.
